Noah Mazé was born into a household of yogis, and raised with the traditions of yoga. In addition to studying closely with John Friend for many years, Noah studies with Professor Douglas Brooks,one of the world’s foremost scholars of the Shrividya traditions of the Hindu Tantra. Noah’s teaching style is uplifting, energetic, and expressive of the depth of his knowledge and life long experience in the principles and practices of yoga. In Noah’s classes, yoga philosophy and myth weave together with asana, pranayama and meditation to create a powerful and transformative environment.

Lotus Rising: Hip Openers A symbol of spiritual un- folding, wealth and abundance, the lotus is rich with teachings and practices. In this deep exploration of hip openers and lower body principles of alignment, you will cultivate the seeds of your own unfolding.

Hearts of Courage: Standing Poses and Backbends It takes great strength and courage to open the heart. We will explore the principles that empower you to open your body/mind/heart safely and powerfully.
$40 Saturday, November 22 - 4:30-7:00 pm
Upside Down/Outside In: Inversions and Meditation Inverted postures encourage the normally out-flow- ing energies to turn in. Headstand, Shoulderstand, Pranayama(breath), Dharana and Dhyana(meditation) interweave to enrich the internal landscape.

Leap for the Mango: Balancings From the young yogis playful leap toward the sun, to the mature leap across the ocean of consciousness, Hanuman, the Divine Monkey, will be our inspiration in a dynamic practice of balancing postures. Challenge yourself to find your center in hand and leg balancings, and increase your ability to take your centered state off the mat.
