Anusara (A-nu-sar-a) means ”flowing with Grace”, “going with the flow”, following your heart.
Anusara Yoga is a highly effective and therapeutic form of Hatha Yoga. John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga in 1997, through devout study realized that the body and life are to be celebrated. He created specific “Universal principles of Alignment” to relieve the body from any pain and suffering and create an ease, strength and mobility in the muscles and joints. This precision woven with Tantric philosophy reveals levels of understanding of the inherent goodness and joy filled living that arise from the human experience.
